FED:Oppn MP apologises for body odour remarks

CANBERRA, Jan 10 AAP - Opposition citizenship spokeswoman Teresa Gambaro has apologised
for suggesting that immigrants should be taught to wear deodorant and wait in queues.

Ms Gambaro suggested on Tuesday Australian employers who hire immigrants on temporary
work visas should provide education on health, hygiene and lifestyle matters.

She said later that her comments reported in The Australian were taken out of context,
inappropriate and were not coalition policy.
